Easy to make on the stove or barbecue in warmer weather, these grilled skewers are great as a side dish, starter or in salad or wraps.

Ingredients

  • 250g Asparagus

  • 1 Lemon

  • 1 Garlic Clove

  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  • Wash and skewer the asparagus whole width ways, 4 per skewer.
  • In a bowl, mix the oil with the salt, pepper, finely chopped garlic, and the juice of half the lemon. Cut the other half of the lemon into wedges and grill for garnish.
  • Marinate the asparagus in the oil and grill for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with a lemon wedge.
